Advanced Laser Dentistry

Dr. Edward Alvarez was one of the first dentists in New York to introduce the Waterlase All Tissue Laser into his practice in 2003. Dr. Alvarez became a fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2005, at their annual meeting in San Diego, California. CEREC Same Day Dentistry

IN 2009, Dr. Edward Alvarez incorporated the CEREC CAD/CAM system to digitally take impressions and create same day crowns, porcelain veneers, inlays, onlays, and bridges in the office, as well as doing same day dentistry smile makeovers. Digital Radiography and CBCT 3D Technology

The office is fully digital, including Schick digital dental x-rays, which offer a 90% reduction in radiation versus traditional X-rays. Our office also has an on-site CBCT cone beam CT scanner, the Vatech America Green CT which performs CAT Scans with up to 70% less radiation as compared to other CT scanners on the market. Dr. Alvarez uses the CBCT to help treatment plan dental implant surgery, to do fully guided implant surgery, to evaluate issues in your sinus or TMJ, and to detect other pathology that may be present.
