DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detector
The DIAGNOdent laser can reduce the need for X-rays and can detect cavities that are otherwise missed during a routine or radiographic exam. By use of harmless pulses of laser light to take the fluorescence reading of the enamel, it allows Dr. Alvarez to locate hidden decay and administer treatment to stop the spread of disease before it destroys the tooth from within.
